Behaviour
Gathering data on the behaviour of vehicles covers a wide scope of metrics.

• Direction – Report on the direction of vehicle travel, including alerting on wrong direction/way breaches.
• Momentum – Measure the speed that vehicles are traveling, including average speed and if areas are experiencing congestion or the presence of idle vehicles.
• Violations – Alert when a vehicle stops in a no parking zone or exceeds a loading area period. Also report on breaches of no entry regulations.

ANPR
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) enables the detection and data log of vehicle number plates at a given access/egress point. Once this identification data is extracted, it can be utilised for a whole host of benefits.
This may be as simple as providing automated access via a gate or barrier, to managing car park duration and payment systems, through to DVLA database links, and the issuing of penalty charge notices for various violations.
